  • Other: The HIV / AIDS Community Awareness Project (HICAP) has existed for eleven years through a collaborative effort from organizations and agencies such as: American Red Cross of Central Oklahoma, Oklahoma State Department of Health HIV/STD Services,  Turning Point, The Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City, RAIN-Oklahoma and Guiding Right, Inc. Through this collaborative effort HICAP will conduct a "Silence is Death" themed demonstration to take place before the "Essentials of Swag" step show being put on by the University of Central Oklahoma's Black Student Association. The event will take place on Friday, February 5th. HICAP will be conducting Rapid HIV testing from 4-6pm. This event will reach over 400 African Americans. Also, through the step show HIV/AIDS facts will be read aloud and a live radio remote provided by POWER 103.5 will take place from 6-7pm to help promote National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.
